HCB Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November 2025 - Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good. The week kicks off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th November when staff and pupils are encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate individuality and what makes us all unique. We will have our annual Anti-bullying Poster competition on Friday 14th November, and we will also introduce our Anti-bulling Ambassadors – Year 7 boys who will go into the Year 1-3 Play zones at break and lunch time.

A huge thanks to Brendan Crossan from the Irish News, who came in to speak to our Primary 6 classes about his illustrious sports journalism career. He gave the lads an insight to his journey from primary school to the main man in the Irish News. No doubt we will have some budding sports journalists from HCB in the future.
