E-Safety

E-Safety is taken very seriously at Holy Cross Boys’ PS. We have an E-Safety policy which is available to view on out Policy documents page along with the ICT policy.

E-Safety is not only about keeping the children safe while they are online, but about teaching them how to be responsible technology users. How to behave online and what is acceptable. Also to understand the repercussions of behaving inappropriately online.

At the beginning of each year the children and parents are asked to sign a contract to ensure that online behaviour and presence while in school is completely above board and positive for all.

Competitions are run each year on Internet safety week to make posters which are displayed around the school.

The ICT Coordinator has created leaflets for families to help with online safety at home also.
