Welcome

As the Principal of Holy Cross Boys’ PS I extend a very warm welcome to our new and creative website. Our site aims to give you a flavour of the pastoral, academic, musical and sporting success that the pupils in our school can experience. We wish every child in our care to have special and happy reflective memories of their time with us.

We want all our children to develop a love of learning that remains with them for life. We also want them to develop the values and skills they will need to succeed in and contribute to, the diverse world in which they live. As a Catholic school we aim to educate children to the highest standards and develop their relationship with Jesus Christ, reflected in the spirit and interactions within the school.

Holy Cross Boys’ has an outstanding reputation for academic success, music, sports, languages and Philosophy. We aim to recognise and nurture the talents in all, so that the children may reach their full potential.

It is our partnership with parents which allows us to continue to improve and maintain our high standards of learning and behaviour. The whole community takes pride in our school’s focus on rights for children which help us promote equality, tolerance and respect for all.

There is a well-established breakfast club and after school clubs, which support families with childcare from 8am until 4pm.  We are building an excellent and inclusive school community where children are proud of their achievements and excel in their learning.

Thank you for taking the time to navigate our website.

Is mise le meas,

Kevin Mc Arevey

Principal
