HCB contest 2023/24 Cumann na mBunscol Aontroma Championship

21st Mar 2024

HCB Gaelic Football team, under the guidance of Mr Magennis faced off against Gaelscoil na bhFál, St. Teresa’s and Park Lodge in their 23/24 Cumann na mBunscol Aontroma Championship campaign yesterday at Willowbank.

The boys showed tremendous energy straight out of the blocks with an impressive win against Gaelscoil na bhFál in their opening encounter before drawing against a strong St.Teresa’s side.

The final game proved the be the most testing against an experienced and well organised Park lodge side, where the boys showed great courage and resilience to remain in the game until the very end but suffered a marginal defeat.

Notable performances come from Jake Patterson, who contributed 4 goals through the 3 games and Aidan Kelly who captained the team and displayed excellent leadership whilst contributing 2 goals and 5 points throughout the day.

Great effort boys!
