All targets set for Christmas smashed in Holy Cross Boys’
After initially setting a target of 15million words to reach before the Christmas holidays, a new target was set of 16 million words last week. We are delighted to announce that because of the collective effort of our P4-P7 boys we are currently sitting on 18,983,716 words which we fully expect to break through the 19 million words before end of the day. We want to thank all the boys who’ve shown such passion for reading in the first term. As you’re aware records are there to be broken so we will be going all out to beat this word count in the second term. That means we will be aiming for the 40 million word target by the end of term 2. Challenge accepted?
