As part of Anti-Bullying Week, HCB celebrated Odd Socks Day!

10th Nov 2025

We are highlighting the Anti-Bullying message this week, and the teachers are doing many class activities throughout the week to remind the boys that we have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying type behaviours and any reported incidents are taken very seriously.

Odd Socks Day marked the start of Anti-Bullying Week today, which was an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

We will also form the new HCB Anti-Bullying Ambassador Year 7 Team, which will start their role on Monday 24th November in the Primary 1 to 3 Play Zones to assist the staff member on duty.

We will conclude the week with our annual Anti-Bullying Poster Competition, when the winning boys will receive a tuck shop voucher for the best Anti-Bullying Poster in each class from Mr McArevey & Mr Curran on Friday.
