Belfast Lord Mayor inspires HCB pupils

23rd Apr 2024
As part of our Careers Week, Belfast Lord Mayor, Ryan Murphy, talked to the KS2 pupils today about his experiences of growing up and the importance of school. He noted how he got interested in politics through community activism but never imagined visiting places like New York as Lord Mayor of Belfast. Ryan spoke about what the job of mayor entails and inspired the boys to always aim high and pursue their dreams. The boys loved his special chain, as did Mr McArevey!
