HCB Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November 2025 - Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good. The week kicks off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th November when staff and pupils are encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate individuality and what makes us all unique. We will have our annual Anti-bullying Poster competition on Friday 14th November, and we will also introduce our Anti-bulling Ambassadors – Year 7 boys who will go into the Year 1-3 Play zones at break and lunch time.

Bookfair Week - Mr McArevey highlights the importance of reading to P4-7 pupils

The Annual Bookfair is proving very popular as always, and the Primary 4-7 pupils thoroughly enjoyed being read to by Mr McArevey, to highlight the enjoyment of reading.

The Bookfair will continue to be open each morning and afternoon – please check the timetable below for the specific times for your child.

Monday – Friday a.m.      8:30 – 9:15 - Open to all

Monday – Thursday p.m.   2:00 – 2:15 p.m. – Primary 1 pupils and parents

                               2:15 – 2:30 p.m. - Primary 2 pupils and parents

                               2:30 – 2:45 p.m. – Primary 3 pupils and parents

                               2:45 – 3:00 p.m. – Primary 4 and 6 pupils and parents

                               3:00 – 3:15 p.m. – Primary 5 and 7 pupils and parents

Remember - The last sales will be on Friday morning.
