Creating mini volcanoes in Extended Schools Science Investigations with Mr McEvoy
The boys loved participating in the Extended Schools Science Investigations with Mr. McEvoy this week, when they explored chemical reactions, focusing on acid-base interactions.
They created mini volcanoes by combining baking soda (bicarbonate) with vinegar, demonstrating how these substances react to produce an exciting eruption of carbon dioxide. Well done boys!
