HCB Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November 2025 - Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good. The week kicks off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th November when staff and pupils are encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate individuality and what makes us all unique. We will have our annual Anti-bullying Poster competition on Friday 14th November, and we will also introduce our Anti-bulling Ambassadors – Year 7 boys who will go into the Year 1-3 Play zones at break and lunch time.

Extended Schools at HCB

HCB Extended Schools Programme is fully up and running and the boys are loving the variety of activities that are on offer this year; Mini-Soccer with Mr Kane, ICT/Podcasting Club with Mr Mullan, Guitar with Mrs Martin, Arts and Craft with Miss O’Hara, French with Mrs Martin, Table Tennis Mr Ferrin, Science Investigations with Miss Quirk, Spanish with Mrs Flannigan, Irish with Mrs Brooks, Multi sports with Mr Kane, Mental Health Awareness with Joe Watson, Gaelic Football with Mr Magennis, ASD HW Club  with Mrs Flannigan, Handball with Mr Ferrin, Soccer with Joe Gormley and Mr Mullan,  Nature Studies with Miss O’Hara, Drum Kit with our specialist and our Peer Mentoring Programme in conjunction with Ardoyne Youth Club.
