The P5 classes loved their visit from the Fire Brigade on Monday. Interesting facts that they learned included the importance of giving your smoke alarms a hoovering inside, as dust and insects can cause the alarm to go off. The fire fighters also challenged the boys to guess what the number one cause of house fires was. We were all surprised to hear that it is air fryers not being switched off at the wall.
