Free Breakfast Club for all HCB pupils until the end of June 2024

28th Feb 2024

We are delighted that funding from the Belfast Charitable Society  https://belfastcharitablesociety.org/about-us/ and Business in the Community’s Good Food Fund https://www.bitcni.org.uk/good-food-fund/#:~:text=The%20Good%20Food%20Fund%20was,2023%2F'24%20school%20year  has ensured a free breakfast club for all pupils until the end of June 2024.

The boys are thoroughly enjoying their breakfast in the mornings before school and the attendance has been fantastic. Thank you so much to Ciara Mulgrew (Good Food Fund) and Jimmy Laverty (Belfast Charitable Society) for all their support.

The Breakfast Club continues every morning from 8am for P1-7 in the school canteen. We would recommend parents to send their child to the Breakfast Club if finding it difficult to ensure their child attends school on time.

As a result of this funding, a number of our boys also get treated to a special breakfast at Aunt Nellie's Cafe.
