Grandparents’ Day - Catholic Schools Week

28th Jan 2024

We had so much fun on Wednesday celebrating our grandparents.

Grandparents and those who represent grandparents are very special people in our children’s lives. The smiles on the boy’s faces when their grandparents enter the class is something special.

Thank you all for coming today, we loved having you all in the classroom.

We will also take a moment to remember all our grandparents who have gone before us. Their legacies lives on in the hearts and minds of all their beloved ones.

We celebrate our grandparents in light of Catholic Schools week and we are also grateful of the faith that is passed on from our grandparents.

Pope Francis recently said, "Let us honour them [grandparents], neither depriving ourselves of their company nor depriving them of ours.”

Without dialogue between the older generation and our children, history and often faith can not move forward.

Thank you all so much again!

Happy Grandparents’ Day!
