Holy Cross Boys’ PS defeated St Thérèse of Lisieux PS 3-0 in yesterday’s U11 EDCO Cup quarter-final at the Waterworks.
With the wind behind them, Holy Cross struck three first-half goals: a header from Jake Mailey off a Noah McKervey corner, followed by finishes from Ronan Gillespie and Nathan Ewing.
They defended brilliantly against the wind after the break to secure a clean sheet and a well-deserved win.
