Congratulations to the school football team, under the direction of Mr Mullan and Joe Gormley, who helped steer HCB into the third round of the EDCO U11 Cup (9 a-side) yesterday at Strandtown. Goals from man of the match, Tiernan Graham and Christopher Moloney gave HCB a HT lead of 2-1 before Strandtown equalised and brought the game to extra time. After a pulsating encounter, Faelan McGuckian’s penalty strike proved decisive in the end. Well done to the boys and management!
