HCB bassoonists attend an “Endangered Instruments of the Orchestra” in Townsend Street

Our fabulous P6 & P7 bassoonists attended an “Endangered Instruments of the Orchestra” event in Townsend Street today, organised by the Ulster Orchestra and the EA Music Service.

Forty bassoonists from across the city and beyond got to play with professional players from the orchestra and then joined forces with a similar number of young viola players to perform Pachelbel’s Canon for friends and family.  

It was a super day, enjoyed by all!
