The Primary 6 football team can hold their heads high after a fantastic run to the semi-finals of the St Thérèse of Lisieux Cup. Competing against Primary 7 opposition, the boys showed incredible determination, teamwork and skill throughout the tournament.
They were narrowly beaten 1–0 by the host school in a hard-fought semi-final, but every player gave everything right to the final whistle.
A special mention goes to Braden McAllister, who was in terrific form in front of goal and scored plenty throughout the competition. At the back, James Lennon Wallace was rock solid in defence, making crucial tackles and leading by example. Ollie Maguire worked tirelessly up and down the wing, delivering some outstanding crosses and creating chances for his teammates.
The lads represented the school brilliantly and should be extremely proud of their achievement.
