HCB Careers Week 2024

26th Apr 2024

The boys were treated to an outstanding Careers Week 2024, with a wide range of superb and interesting professions visiting their respective classes to discuss different types of careers.

These included a post warden, postman, aeronautical engineer, solicitor, train driver, lollipop man/woman, QUB archaeologist, teacher, nurse, mechanical engineer, MP, Lord Mayor, Youth Club leader, Enterprise Director, Aerospace Engineer, caretaker, boxer, author and a financial consultant.

After an excellent P1Q R2 Class Assembly, the P1-3 pupils enjoyed being dressed up in their favourite occupation costume to conclude one of the best weeks in the school calendar. Well done to all involved and thank you to all our guests for their excellent career advice.

A special thanks to Mrs. McShane, who coordinated another brilliant Careers Week in HCB.
