HCB Choir Impress at Primary Schools’ Spring Sing in St. Anne’s Cathedral

12th May 2026

The P5/6/7 choir took part in the Primary Schools’ Spring Sing in St. Anne’s Cathedral today, along with choirs from our partner schools Glenwood P.S. and Cliftonville Integrated P.S.

The adjudicator, Mr Richard Yarr MBE DL, complimented their excellent diction, dynamics, energy and harmony singing. Special mention was given to Jack Mc Auley Reid who played solo djembe in our first song and our three junior Scholars, Jude Quigley, Oisin Colohan and Connlaodh Delaney who sang a descant line in our second song.

Congratulations to all the boys on their excellent performance.

A certificate was presented to the school by Mrs Fionnuala Jay O’Boyle, the Lord Lieutenant of Belfast.

Thanks to our Music Coordinator, Mrs Martin for preparing the boys so meticulously once again.
