HCB Digital Leaders help to promote the importance of Internet safety!

5th Feb 2026

Safer Internet Day 2026 – Our Digital Leaders (P4-7) alongside our ICT Coordinator, Mrs. Mohan visited the classes this week and discussed using AI safely and for good.

‘Safer Internet Day’ is celebrated on the 10th of February each year (HCB are off for mid-term break) and is a chance to focus on the online safety and wellbeing of children.

They discussed the fact that AI only does what it is told, and if someone uses it to make mean or nasty things that it is the person and not the technology that is bad.

Please talk to your child about being a responsible technology user and make sure they know what to do if something happens to them when they are online.
