HCB Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November 2025 - Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good. The week kicks off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th November when staff and pupils are encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate individuality and what makes us all unique. We will have our annual Anti-bullying Poster competition on Friday 14th November, and we will also introduce our Anti-bulling Ambassadors – Year 7 boys who will go into the Year 1-3 Play zones at break and lunch time.

HCB football team in pursuit of the treble

HCB football team, under the guidance of Mr Jennings will be eager to continue their unbeaten run in all school competitions this year, when they contest the Belfast Cup Under 11 final.

They collected the Indoor 5-A-Side Belfast Competition in early March with victory over St Teresa’s in the final, after securing the Cyril Murray Cup title back in February. They are now preparing for the final showdown with Orangefield Primary School at Avoniel Leisure Centre at 2.00pm next Wednesday 29th March in pursuit of the treble.

The Primary 6 team, also unbeaten, meet St. Peter’s Primary School in the semi-final of the Belfast Cup in the coming weeks.
