HCB Gaelic Football Team Progress to Semi-finals!

16th Oct 2025

It’s been a fantastic start to the Cumann na mBunscol Aontroma Allianz Football Leagues for HCB, as the lads put in a series of superb performances against Gaelscoil na bhFál, Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh, and Holy Trinity PS.

Every single player gave their all, showing great skill, teamwork, and determination throughout each game. The hard work on the training pitch is really starting to pay off, and the boys can be incredibly proud of how they represented the school.

A special mention goes to Donal Lindsey, who put in a commanding performance in the middle of the park. Finley Stanton was another standout, leading by example in defense with his composure, strength, and brilliant reading of the game.

Their efforts — along with the commitment of the entire squad — have earned the team a well-deserved place in the semi-finals!

A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who came along to cheer on the boys — your support was fantastic and really lifted the team. Well done to all involved — onwards to the semi-finals!

Thanks to Mr McEvoy for preparing the team over the last few weeks.
