HCB secure the treble!

29th Mar 2023

Congratulations to our football team, under the direction of Mr Jennings, who completed the treble at Avoneil Leisure Centre today, when they shared the Under 11 Belfast Cup with Orangefield Primary School.

The P7 team remain undefeated in all competitions, having now secured the Indoor 5-A-Side Belfast Competition, the Cyril Murray Cup and now the U11 Belfast Cup. The boys went 1-0 up after a long-range effort from Ruairi Vernon but Orangefield levelled matters before the break. Both teams had further chances to win, and both hit the cross bar twice before the final whistle.

The Primary 6 team, also unbeaten, meet St. Peter’s Primary School in the semi-final of the Belfast Cup next week.
