HCB Win Belfast 5 A-Side Football Competition!

1st Mar 2023

Congratulations to the Holy Cross Boys’ indoor 5-A-Side team who today won the Belfast Competition. Having come through the qualifying groups on Monday, they returned to the Shankill Leisure Centre to retain the trophy that was last played for before COVID hit. Having topped their group today, they defeated St Matthew’s in the semi final before a 2 - 0 victory over St Teresa’s in the final. All seven boys in the squad played brilliantly with special mentions for Ryland Perry, who scored in every game and Riley Harper who didn’t concede any goals. Mr Jennings and the P7 boys remain unbeaten in all competitions to date. 👏👏🔴⚫️
