Year 8 post-primary applications for September 2026 will close at 12 noon Thursday 19 February 2026. MID-TERM 2 Awards – for Attendance, Reading & Numeracy Tuesday 3rd Feb 2026. Mid-Term 2 Break - HCB will be CLOSED from FRIDAY 6TH TO FRIDAY 13TH  February 2026 (Inclusive) for mid-term break & will reopen on MONDAY 16TH February 2026.

Lots of fun in HCB on World Book Day

HCB celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 6th March, when the Primary 1 and 2 boys dressed up in their pjs, dressing gowns and some came to school dressed as their favourite book character. The Primary 3-7 pupils brought in their favourite books to share with their class and many parents uploaded some fabulous pictures of their child reading in an unusual place. Thank you to all our parents for your support and help in acknowledging this special day and the power of reading.
