Meet the new HCB Liturgical Leaders

20th Dec 2024

Our Religious Coordinator, Mr Wallace introduced our new Liturgical Leaders to the whole school yesterday at our Advent Penance Service in the hall. These boys will be helping to organise and lead school liturgies and prayer services as well as maintain prayer spaces and displays in HCB.

Their first big role will be to assist in developing our new Sacred Space in the Nature Garden, where we hope to have a celebration ceremony on Tuesday 21st January during Catholic Schools Week. Details to follow!

Our school chaplain, Fr Anthony led the prayer service and had some beautiful words for the boys as they go off on their Christmas holidays.

We were very fortunate to have former pupil and teacher at the school, Aidan Donaldson (Catholic Schools’ Support Service) attend and celebrate in this joyous occasion as well as offer our new Liturgical Leaders some great words of advice.

Merry Christmas to all from HCB.
