NM Sports Football Tournament at The Waterworks

A huge well done to our P6 football team (under the guidance of Mr McEvoy) who took part in the NM Sports football tournament at the Waterworks today.

The lads were competing against Primary 7 teams and showed tremendous determination, skill, and teamwork throughout the day. Despite playing against older opposition, they more than held their own and produced some excellent performances. The team finished the tournament with 1 win, 1 draw, and 2 defeats, with every player giving their all from start to finish.

Special mentions go to Gerard, who made some fantastic saves in goal to keep the team in several matches, Ollie, who worked tirelessly on the wing and caused problems for opposing defences, and Finlay, who controlled the game from the middle of the park with his energy and determination.

Most importantly, the boys represented the school brilliantly, demonstrating excellent attitude, sportsmanship, and effort throughout the tournament.

Well done, lads – you should all be very proud of yourselves!
