NSPCC Speak Out/Stay Safe Workshops for P6, Starlight & P3 classes

The NSPCC Speak Out/Stay Safe programme was delivered by the NSPCC volunteer, Valerie, today to the P6, Starlight & P3 children. This was very informative and helped the boys understand child protection and who to contact if they don’t feel safe, including the Childline service https://www.childline.org.uk/kids.

The boys were fully engaged in this workshop and discussed abuse in all its forms and how to recognise the signs of abuse, that abuse is never a child’s fault, and they have the right to be safe, where to get help and the sources of help available to them.
