Our term 2 topic is Early Humans and today the children were learning about an archaeological discovery called Lucy which gives scientists lots of information on very early humans.
Lucy is so named because The Beatles song ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’ was playing in the background when the discovery was made.
They learned lots about Lucy’s appearance, what she may have eaten and what may have led to her demise at just 20 years old. Quiz them about what they learned!
