P6 Football team battle bravely in U10 Belfast Cup Final

26th Apr 2023

Our P6 Football team narrowly lost out in the final of the Belfast U10 Cup against Campbell College at Avoniel Leisure Centre on Monday. The boys, under the tutelage of Mr Jennings, battled bravely, losing on a 1-0 scoreline.

A superb Faelan McGuckian long range free kick, which hit the cross bar nearly altered the result, but it wasn’t to be on this occasion. Riley Harper had a man of the match performance for HCB in goals.  The boys will have the opportunity to go again in the Under 11 Cup next year, which HCB collected just a few weeks back.
