P.7 Service of Commitment and Light

18th Jan 2023
P.7 Service of Commitment and Light

Our Primary 7 pupils took part in their Service of Commitment and Light yesterday, in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. A lovely moment when the child’s parents/carers hand on the light of faith to their child. The boys sang beautifully, behaving impeccably and maintained such reverence throughout the service.

Many thanks to our school chaplain Brian McKee for a lovely service and for the workshop he held before the service.

Thank you to Mrs Martin (Music Specialist), Mr Wallace (RE Coordinator) and our teachers and classroom assistants for ensuring a lovely ceremony.

The boys will now look forward to making their Confirmation next Friday 27th January @11am in Holy Cross Church.
