HCB Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November 2025 - Anti-Bullying Week - Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good. The week kicks off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 10th November when staff and pupils are encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate individuality and what makes us all unique. We will have our annual Anti-bullying Poster competition on Friday 14th November, and we will also introduce our Anti-bulling Ambassadors – Year 7 boys who will go into the Year 1-3 Play zones at break and lunch time.

Royal Television Society Award for Young Plato: The Philosophy Boys of Ardoyne

We have been delighted with the momentous success of the documentary Young Plato: The Philosophy Boys of Ardoyne.

The documentary continues to be honoured at many events, and yesterday, Thursday 1st June, at Belfast City Hall at the Royal Television Society awards, Mr McArevey and Mrs Reel were in attendance to collect the award for Best Documentary.
