Special House System Assembly this week from 5W R14 focusing on the theme of respect in our school and local community!

19th Sep 2024

5W delivered a brilliant assembly (the first of the new school year) this morning on the School of Philosophy House System, focusing on theme of respect and behaviour at the start of the new school year. Well done 5W!

Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents (outside of school hours) reported to us, involving HCB pupils stealing in local shops, throwing glass and stones at other boys (injuring them close to the eye) and using foul language and aggressive behaviour towards elders in the Community.

Local Councillor (SF) Nichola Bradley and Mr McArevey spoke to the boys (P4-7) about these socially unacceptable type behaviours and highlighted how they can lead to severe consequences for the young people/children involved in this.
