The HCB staff, pupils, parents and community send out our prayers and condolences to the Dore family

10th Apr 2024

The staff, pupils, parents and community of Holy Cross Boys’ send out our prayers and condolences to the Dore family. Tom Dore served the community of Ardoyne for many years as a teacher & Vice Principal. Tom will be fondly remembered for his gentle manner, gregarious nature and unrelenting drive to ensure that the children of Holy Cross Boys’ got the best that education had to offer.

Despite the deep sense of pain and loss that comes with grief, Tom’s memories, stories and anecdotes will keep us all smiling for Tom Dore showed us all how to live.

He is affectionately remembered on an annual basis at our Year 7 Leavers’ Ceremony when we present the Tom Dore award to a pupil who displays the qualities of an all-round gentleman.

May our Lady of Knock pray for him and his family.
