Trip to QFT & Botanic Park

As part of our topic this term we visited Queens Film Theatre to watch a movie (Clifford the big red dog) which was during mental health week 2023. We were able to discuss the topic of accepting differences in others and in ourselves, being kind and bullying in relation to the movie. We also squeezed in a sketching trip to the Lanyon Building at Queens University and Botanic Gardens' Palm House. Here we looked at many weird and beautiful plants and were able to see how some exotic plants bear their fruit and dispearse their seeds (lifecycle topic). We had an amazing day!
