Westland Fire & Rescue Service visited Year 5

This week, our P5s welcomed a team of fire fighters from the Westland Fire and Rescue Station.

They talked to the children about dangers in our homes, what to do in the case of a fire and the danger of making hoax calls.

Interestingly, lots of children didn’t know their home addresses and the fire fighters told them how important this was in case they ever need to make an emergency phone call.

The children learned so much from the firefighters and we would like to thank them for their time.
