Winning Start in Cyril Murray Cup

The lads stepped out for their opening game of the Cyril Murray Cup today, taking on Cairnshill PS at Cairnshill Playing Fields.

HCB has a proud history in this competition, and today’s team certainly lived up to that tradition. After going a goal down early in the second half, the boys showed great resilience and spirit to turn things around.

The equaliser came from some lovely play down the left wing, finished off clinically by Conan McNeill - his fifth goal in just two games! Minutes later, Nathan Ewing sealed the win with a superb strike to make it 2-1.

A fantastic comeback and a well-deserved victory. Well done, lads - a great start to the campaign! ⚽💪⚫️🔴
