Congratulations to all our Year 7 pupils and their excellent teacher, Mr Hawkins, who worked so hard and did exceptionally well in the SEAG Transfer Assessment recently with 16 boys achieving Band 1, 2 Band 2, 2 Band 3, 4 Band 4, 3 Band 5 and 8 Band 6. The Year 8 post-primary applications for September 2026 will close at 12 noon Thursday 19th February 2026. 

Mid-Term 2 Break - HCB will be CLOSED from FRIDAY 6TH TO FRIDAY 13TH February 2026 (Inclusive) for mid-term break & will reopen on MONDAY 16TH February 2026.

WW2 Trip

Our class visited the NI War Memorial where we learnt lots about life in Belfast during WW2. 

We saw gas masks, an old water hose used during the Belfast Blitz and even an unexploded bomb left during Belfast Blitz. 


Lots of learning in action and a very knowledgeable bunch of Primary 4s.
